For our Consumer Health Care department, located in Santa Palomba - Pomezia (Rome), we are recruiting for a **Material Supply Management Specialist** to be hired, with a 12 months temporary contract.
The MSM Specialist is responsible for the co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials and components, with special focus on projects by ensuring a smooth management of phase in/ phase out of direct materials.
The MSM Specialist oversees the SLOB and coordinate together the relevant teams and suppliers, mitigation plans to minimize write offs.
He/She supports the local MSM team by developing tools and instruments to facilitate call off and ordering of the materials.
He/She is a key contact for regional teams as MSM, Source, RRT for all the activities related to materials management.
**Main responsabilities**:
- Maintain Raw Materials and Components inventories within target, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials. Contribute to the global balancing of Materials and Components within Global Planning, ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost.
- Liaises with the suppliers to clarify potential plan constraints and interfaces between supplier and the key internal stakeholders to ensure issue resolution.
- Partner with Global Procurement to drive Supplier performance improvement including quality and on-time delivery in line with MPS.
- In partnership with Source,



track and report site / platform level supplier service performance, communicating the information to the relevant parties.
- Liaises with warehouse staff to understand and adhere to space constraints, managing inventory levels within agreed targets.
- Support the RCCP/ S&OP; processes where required for material and component suppliers.
- Effectively partner with all internal and external business partners.
- Focuses and encourages continuous improvements of the process supported.
- Supports material and component Phase in and Phase Out processes.
- Connect with Supply Planning to ensure seamless flow of information and ensure a fully integrated approach to delivering key metrics - Customer Service, Inventory, and Cost.
- Highlight opportunities to have developed through global programs to deliver continuous improvement in KPI’s.
- Align with strategies and realization of departmental and company goals, advances succession planning by holding career conversations with material planning lead
- Support NPI/NPD initiatives by ensuring a proper introduction of the new suppliers and a correct management of the Materials phase in / phase out
- Support MSM projects
**Qualifications**:
- Master Degree, Management Engineering is highly preferrable
- Working experience of at least 6 months (stage included)



in Supply Chain (this is necessary unless the University Degree is in Management Engineering)
- Advanced knowledge of English language (B2 and above)
- Availability to work in Pomezia
