The Laboratory is responsible for mechanical tests on components or parts of components in their real dimensions, verifying their functionality, performance,



and operating limits under real-use conditions and in the construction of high-pressure plants for full-scale tests of interest to the Oil & Gas sector (testing ductile fracture propagation on pipelines in the presence of gas, hydrogen pressure cycling on pipes, etc.).
