The Project Logistics Operations will be responsible for the daily operational activities within the Project Department.
The individual will also be responsible for increasing productivity while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and accuracy to internal/external customers.
The position must also ensure to operate in compliance with client contracts, company network procedures, prompt billing of all charges and selling of existing clients.

Main responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring that the daily activity is in compliance with stated management metrics.
Work with Business Development staff to ensure client satisfaction of services, deep selling of existing clients,



and support the implementation of new clients as directed by the Project Logistics Manager.
Ensure processes meet clients' needs.
Conduct root cause analysis and undertake corrective and preventive actions regarding client service failures.
Attend regular meetings with the Project Team to discuss operational issues.
May perform other duties or undertake further responsibilities as required by the company's management.
Communicate with all parties involved in the process, including air/ocean carriers, brokers, warehouses, intermodal, rail operators, customers, and draymen.
Troubleshoot problems, handle irregularities, and prevent recurrence.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to all inquiries timely.
Generate timing and performance reports as necessary.
Generate all required import/export documentation, including airway bills, bill of lading, HAWB, MAWB, invoices, packing lists, and letters of credit when needed.
Buy services and quote to customers or network in cooperation with the Project Coordinator.
Job requirements: Minimum 2 years of Project Team experience or equivalent in the ocean freight division.
Experience in the completion of all required import/export documentation and freight coordination.
Knowledge of Out-of-Gauge and Heavy Load Transport methodology is preferential.
Familiarity with Incoterms, government agencies, and basic laws and regulations for goods handling both import and export.
Professional polished spoken and written communication skills.
Basic Windows applications proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Good knowledge of the English language (both spoken and written).




Proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good comprehension of rate structures and import/export regulations.
Team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and all management levels.
Ability to work under time pressure.
