The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities in manufacturing processes, to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows. The role involves strong involvement with production staff, supporting change through adopting Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Description of Main Activities/Responsibilities:

Analysis and Optimization of Production Processes: Monitor operational performance through specific KPIs and data analysis. Participate in regular meetings to discuss results and identify improvement actions. To optimize processes, apply Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, A3, SMED, Kanban) and Six Sigma methodologies. Efficiency Improvement and Waste Reduction: Identify areas of waste and propose practical solutions to reduce operational costs. Support production in optimizing raw material usage. Define improvement actions that require minimal investment but provide tangible benefits in terms of efficiency. Change Management and Employee Engagement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement,



supporting department managers and operators in managing change. Conduct internal training on CI methodologies, including 5S and Lean practices. Act as a key point of reference for the production team in resolving operational issues related to quality and efficiency. Procedure Management and Standardization: Create and update standard operating procedures (OPL – One Point Lessons) to ensure process clarity. Collaborate with department managers to implement best practices and standardize work methodologies. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the Plant Manager, department heads, and IT/Data teams to monitor results and develop optimization strategies. Support external consultants in improvement and cost-saving projects. Collaborate with the Finance team in collecting and analyzing economic data to monitor savings and operational efficiency. Management of Visits and Internal Audits: Support the team during internal audits, customer visits, and inspections, ensuring that improvement practices are documented and applied. Requirements: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (5S, A3, SMED, Kanban). Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred). Ability to analyze production data and translate it into concrete actions.



Experience in change management and employee engagement in production environments. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Oracle. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing environments (food, industrial, automotive). Personal Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find practical, cost-effective solutions. Flexibility and adaptability to a constantly evolving environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with operators, managers, and top management. Ability to work independently in a role requiring initiative and keen observation skills. A mindset open to change, with a strong focus on Lean culture.
