Below are the main responsibilities and requirements for the position: Vacancy: The resource will be involved in the advanced control development team, focusing on the design and validation of novel technologies for smart home appliances. His/her duties will include: Studying and reviewing the state of the art as a starting point for research programs; Designing and identifying mathematical models with lumped parameters of physical processes; Designing and calibrating control and optimization algorithms using standard or advanced strategies (control theory and/or machine learning); Work place:

Turin Competences Needed (Education / Experience / Skills / Competencies / Languages): Technical Requirements: Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Control/Robotics/Automation/Computer/Electronics Engineering; Strong knowledge of Control Theory; Solid background in machine learning algorithms; General knowledge of data analysis; Knowledge of computing architecture (embedded and cloud computing); Advanced knowledge of Matlab/Simulink; Good knowledge of Python; Basic knowledge of sensor/actuator physics; Generic programming skills (C/C++); Non-Technical Requirements: Passion for algorithm and control design;
