About the Role
The
Cyber Security Analyst
will be responsible for the following: Collecting, analyzing, escalating, and responding to cyber-attacks and assist in maturing overall cyber security incident prevention, detection and response programs. Analyzes digital evidence and investigates security incidents artifact source code, malware, and system configuration to derive useful information in support of cyber security incidents mitigation. Manage architecture, implementation and delivery of cybersecurity services (EPP/EDR, IPS/IDS, Email/Web Security Gateway, Vulnerability Scanning, etc.). What You Need to Be Successful

Education, Training and Experience: IT Science Degree or Information Security related degree or a closely related field. Security certification (CISSP), SANS or related certification would be advantageous. Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Experience in trouble-shooting and performing root cause analysis of cybersecurity incidents. Experience in network forensic analysis, malware analysis, incident response or similar. Experience with security tools IPS/IDS, Endpoint Security, Patching, AV, DLP, Firewalls, Encryption, Vulnerability Scanners. Solid understanding of technology best practices for application systems development and infrastructure support (operating systems, network and computer operations, production support, and Information Security). Experience with L1/L2 operational support involving all aspects of the monitoring, response and triage of cyber security events/incident. Experience with the critical tools used in security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, malware analysis, or other areas of security operations. Thorough understanding of cyber security operations, event monitoring, and SIEM tools. Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Previous experience in SOC/CERT similar environment is highly desired. Two or more years’ experience with malware analyses is highly desired. Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CREST CRT, GIAC (GXPN, GWAPT, GPEN, GMOB) others are a plus.
