We are happy to share that we are currently looking for a talented
R&D; Laboratory Specialist
to join our
R&D; Technical Category Chews & Gummies
team based in Alba (CN)! This will be the starting point of an exciting career in our dynamic and challenging R&D; function, that will enable you to consolidate both technical and managerial skills for a brilliant path in Ferrero Group! You will have the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic and international environment, focusing on the development of a successful cross-country range of new products. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient execution of all laboratory tests in accordance with the evolution of the legislation, ensuring analytical and interpretative reliability to protect the consumer. Main Responsibilities:
In this role,
you will be responsible for
all laboratory analysis, tests and research in projects , supporting the related decision-making process, as well as ensuring the sampling required for tastings, sensory analysis, taste tests. You will support the manager in
proposing solutions aimed at improving product related aspects, raw materials, semi-finished products and all production processes.
You will be participating in the
study of new doses
and provide for their drafting also collaborating with internal and external partners for
new equipment and technologies, editing specifications, technical documentations, guidelines.
Finally, you will be responsible for the organization of the laboratory and you will contribute to the application of the rules on health and safety at work and HACCP. Who we are looking for:
You will bring your university
Master's Degree
background in
Food Technology/Food Engineering/Food Science or equivalent
and your experience of
4-5+ years in Sugar Confectionary food industries
with particular focus on R&D; laboratories activities. Your strong
knowledge of sugar Confectionery
raw materials and their functionalities in the recipes and processes, with particular focus on sugars, glucose syrups, jellying agents (vegetable and animal), sweeteners and flavors will be key to fit the role at best.
You will contribute to the success of the team thanks to your strong
pilot plant or factory expertise of main Sugar Confectionery processes and technologies
with focus on chewy, jelly and gummy. Your knowledge of production dynamics, sample management, supply of raw and semi-finished products will be a fundamental asset. Your
strives for high standards , seeks innovative & creative solutions, drives continuous improvement of products and processes, and high degree of intellectual curiosity will bring you to success in this role. Your desire for
international mobility
is needed to participate in industrial trials in collaboration with Product Technical Performance Managers, together with your
true passion for our products, consumers and category.
As a good communicator, your
fluency in both Italian and English
