We are happy to share that we are currently looking for a talented
Ice Cream Laboratory Technologist
who will join the
Breakthrough Innovation Ice-Cream
team based in Alba (CN). You will have the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic and international environment, focusing on the
development of new Ice-Cream products as well as supporting industrial processes. You will be responsible for the timely and efficient execution of projects aimed to
translate Long Term strategical ambition into Breakthrough Product Innovation Department. Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will bring your contribution in the
timely and efficient execution of all laboratory tests
in accordance with the evolution of the legislation, ensuring analytical and interpretative reliability to protect the consumer.
You will be responsible for
all laboratory analysis, tests and research in projects , supporting the related decision-making process, as well as keeping up to date all the specifications related to the products (doses, technical specifications, etc.). You will support the manager in proposing solutions aimed at improving product-related aspects, raw materials, semi-finished products and all production processes. You will be participating in the
study of new doses
and provide for their drafting, also collaborating with internal and external partners for new equipment and technologies, editing specifications, technical documentation, guidelines. You will
oversee and monitor the technological evolution of new laboratory equipment
and collaborate in the evaluation of the advantages related to their use. Finally, you will have the opportunity to
collaborate with group plant technologies
in order to provide technical product-process support
as well as other S&I; Labs and Group functions
(e.g. DTS, Nutrition, etc.) to assess and identify the most suitable semi-finished products / ingredients / RMs. Who we are looking for:
You will bring your university
Master's Degree background in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Food Science or equivalent
and your
experience of 4-5+ years in
R&D; department. You will bring your
strong knowledge of food industry processes
and raw materials, food safety and production processes, with particular focus on ice cream products. You will contribute to the success of the team thanks to your
strong knowledge of chemical, microbiological, sensory and nutritional analysis.
Your

problem-solving skills as well as your attention to details

strive for high standards, innovative and creative way of working.
