within the Materials & Technologies Division. Mission

RINA Consulting – Centro Sviluppo Materiali is seeking a resource to be included as a Laboratory Engineer in the team of the “Full-Scale Testing Laboratory”.



The Laboratory is responsible for mechanical tests on components or parts of components in their real dimensions, verifying their functionality, performance, and operating limits under real-use conditions and in the construction of high-pressure plants for full-scale tests of interest to the Oil & Gas sector (testing ductile fracture propagation on pipelines in the presence of gas, hydrogen pressure cycling on pipes, etc.). Frequent tests are also conducted on real-sized components for the Aerospace & Defense sector and other application sectors. Job Responsibilities

Design tests and associated plants Conduct compliance tests according to European and international standards based on the component being tested, defining the test layout and procedure Perform special tests in accordance with specifications defined by the Client and/or Manufacturer Generate test reports in English Define technical specifications and/or design the testing equipment Periodically verify the calibration status of the instrumentation in use, managing the instrument inventory to maintain efficiency and calibration Collaborate with other team members to perform work and solve any issues Education

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Competencies
